Dr. Slater Murphy received a degree in Exercise Science from The University of Iowa in 2016. He is a 4th generation Chiropractor and a 2019 graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic. In addition to traditional Chiropractic techniques, Dr. Slater applies an emerging and innovative neurological application, Network Spinal.
Dr. David Murphy is a third generation chiropractor and has been in practice for 44 years. Dr. Murphy graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1976 after serving 3 tours in Vietnam. He greatly enjoys improving the health of his patients.
Kim Murphy is Murphy Chiropractic's Office Manager and wife of Dr. David Murphy. When she is not at the office she loves spending time at the gym exercising, cooking new recipes, and spending time with her family.
Dustin Murphy is the licensed massage therapist practicing at Murphy Chiropractic. He received his massage training at Capri College in the summer of 2020. Prior to this he attended the University of Iowa where he earned a bachelors degree in health and human physiology. Dustin is very passionate about the health and wellbeing of the individuals of the community. in his free time he enjoys endurance and weight training as well as spending time in and learning about nature.
Our Legacy
The Murphys have been practicing Chiropractic for almost 100 years. First generation Dr. L.O. Murphy graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic and began practicing in Davenport in 1925. His son Dr. O.W. Murphy (second generation) practiced in the years following. Today, Drs. David (third generation) and Slater (fourth generation) Murphy continue the family legacy by providing the highest quality health care to the Quad Cities community.
